...Timothy David Padgett got into Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, TEDS, for a Masters in Church History. Yippy! Lord willing he will get his PhD afterwards. We don't know yet what his focus will be with the Church History parameters...will inform later.
What does this mean?
Tim graduates in December from Covenant Seminary and then we will most likely move to Chicago in late December/early January. I will finish courses via access. Not only was he excepted but he received a $2,000 scholarship due to his assets and credentials that he brings to the school. Way to go Tim! That is all the information we know right now. We tried to get on campus housing but they were full...so we have to look for a place to live away from campus. Yuck! It's expensive up there and to pay more for housing and gas/transportation will be a great deal more than what we planned...but we still have hope. Nothing is beyond His care and provision for us.
Chicago, here we come! Now, all of you who have not been to Chicago...come and visit us and make a family trip out of it. We would love to have you!
Tim...I am so proud of you...the adventure awaits!
