At our local library they had a special event to meet Skippyjon Jones. This cat, who thinks he is a chihuahua, is a character in children's books. (If you don't know it, look him up!) I was recently introduced to him by Tiffany Pancoast and Skippyjon has become a favorite to read to Liam.
They gave out cat masks and read stories. It was short, simple and fun!
Somehow I was able to keep this mask on his head.
I think I loved the event more than my son...but give him time. When parents enjoy reading a story...the children will love it too.

I love Liam's look on his face in the first picture. It looks like he's saying, "Dude! What are you?" He's not too sure about that one. So cute and fun!
