Christmas in Chicago!
These are some Christmas photos. The Kennedy's, the Tennessee Padgett's, the senior Padgett's and the new Northern Chicago Padgett's all joined together in Wheaton. We went bowling on Christmas Eve, made s'mores on Christmas Eve night, opened stockings and gifts on Christmas day, played in the snow and went for walks, and enjoyed a wonderful Christmas dinner, ending the fun celebrations with a traditional Scottish flare. We opened European crackers that has treats inside (paper crowns, charms, toys, a joke and/or candy). We also ate an Austrian cake that was made with charms inside. We dug through our pieces of cake to see if we were the lucky ones to receive a charm signifying what our year would be like. (fortune, traveling, long life, sweet, 3 wishes, etc.) It was so much fun to gather as a family and enjoy other traditions that people celebrate all over the world.
