Welcome to the Padgett Pad!
Instead of investing in paint, etc. we decided to work with what we had. All the walls are white so we have had to add color with other things. The only wall painted is in the living room by the landlord because he couldn't get this yellowish stain out. It's perfect though and adds just the right touch. He painted it when we went on our honeymoon.
We have these three beautiful stained glass windows on one wall.
This is our dinning room.
This is our tiny kitchen. The back of the stove is behind the white, half wall in the middle of the picture and the sink is under the glass cabinets that I absolutely love. There is usually only space for one at a time. However small it is a great working "triangle" that chefs say make an ideal kitchen. I will miss this place.
There is a small alcove at the entrance of the hall that I use to store other kitchen items.
All these books are Tim's minus the photo albums on the middle-bottom-right cubical. And double thanks to my mother, Bonnie Bragg, who is an artist (a note to those new friends and family members), for our wedding present. A new painting for our new home. We love it mom, thank you!
This is our tiny bathroom. The colors are deep olive, chocolate brown and kacki

This is the master bedroom at the end of the house. There is also a small guest room that snuggly fits a double bed, a desk, and a built in book shelf . If you stand just right, you can touch all three at the same time. This is also known as Tim's office.

The apartment is narrow but long. We share 3 other apartments in this large square shaped house. The whole street is full of similar houses. It's a great neighborhood. It will be sad to leave here. I am convinced that no matter how small or complicated or disasterous your first home is...it is still your first home and it is the best place.
