7 MONTHS - Declan likes to hit a spoon on his eating tray and listen to the sounds it makes. He loves laughing with his big brother and splash with Liam in the tub. He is beginning to realize that he can be on all fours (knees and hands)and see more things. It's been fun to watch him grow.

MINNESOTA TRIP - no order to photos...As per Annalisa's request- no photos of her children on the internet hence the "back" poses. they are beautiful children and super fun to play with. We miss you guys. Thanks for the great memories.
Picnic at a local farm.
Jumping on hay bales.
We got to see (and pet) some sheep, 3 HUGE pigs, Angus cows, and some chickens/roosters. It was very interesting.
Grandma's house: well, now it's Aunt Kathleen's house but I am SOOO glad that my two boys were able to see where I took many bath's in my grandmother's kitchen sink.
Stone wall my grandpa built.
Special tree outside kitchen window...my siblings and I have tons of memories climbing this tree when we were young.
Aunt Kathleen (mom's youngest sister) and Uncle Gene (oldest brother)
Adventures on Five Acres - Liam had a blast walking out the door and seeing tons of places to run and walk. (NO cars - yippy!)
Nature walks on the trails - boys looking for rocks, bugs, worms, sticks, etc.
Boys will be boys!
Annalisa put Declan in the flower basket as she cut flowers for the dinning table.
Cousin H meeting Declan for the first time. No matter what H's mood was, he would immediately stop and say, "Hey, bebe (baby)" if Declan was around.

Picking rhubarb from the garden (as we are about to Depart for home).

Declan and Liam LOVED playing with the silks. They were so light and airy. We will have to purchase some.

Vine castle at Arboretum...amazing.

Declan and Fairy Princess A

The boys LOVED walking across this bench at the river's edge. Simple pleasures.

Cousin A and H are adding to this tee pee when they find great branches.

Under the river bench, Annalisa showed us what the ants have been doing.

Liam helped A water the new plants that Uncle Dennis planted in the garden.

Looking for Roly Polies.

This is an incredible addition to the slide. There are stairs on the left side, climb over this log and enjoy a slide down into a wonderful circular flower bed of Irises.

The kids were walking on the circle walkway through one garden lot. Liam enjoyed the challenge of staying on the circles. H was a pro.
Headed back home...

When we pulled over for a lunch break, we found this AWESOME old school playground that Liam LOVED. Brought back tons of memories.

...Last stop at Lake Geneva before our home stretch.

BACK HOME:

Finally warm enough to swim in our pool.

Liam was teaching Declan about the birds that were flying by.
Morning dove nest right outside our back door on our stove exhaust fan. She laid two eggs but unfortunately only one hatched.
