Front door - We were trapped inside...couldn't push screen door open more than 6 inches. It was up to my knee. Because our door/entry way is in a cove, the wind swirled the snow on our side and blocked us in. Unlike our neighbors, who were able to open their front door.

Entry way - amazing effects of the wind
GARAGE: Our only way out

22 inches of snow

Liam and I decided to dig trenches and have fun in the snow.

All of Chicago shut down, no one could get out on the roads. We were literally trapped in our homes. They didn't start plowing roads until around 11am on Feb. 2nd when blizzard mostly stopped.

Snow castles

Trenches

Huge snow flakes on the back door.

Where to put all that snow...a huge tractor came to plow us out.

Road view...snow up to cars rear lights (not piled up)

Oh...the adventures we have in the snow!!!!!
