Tim has to work on Mother's Day so he surprised me with an adventure, which I LOVE, to a State Park across the border. It was serendipitous. We missed the turn to Big Foot State Park and ended up in downtown Geneva. Adorable town with character and a gourgeous view of Lake Geneva. We parked on the lake, toured the visitor center, had a picnic on the shore line, walked the streets and shops, enjoyed a Hazelnut Latte, walked by the river, took photos all on a cold day in May.

Then Tim grilled steak and made this amazing salad around it. Watermellon for dessert.
I love my husband! Thanks to my two favorite guys for making my 1st mother's day wonderful.
